Fourth grade had a squrimy day!

Our fourth graders can add the title Junior Entomologist to their resumes!

As part of the Full Option Science System (FOSS) curriculum, the student-scientists are learning about the lifecycle of mealworms (which aren’t really worms at all – they’re the larval form of a beetle).

Part 1 of the lab, conducted Friday in Justin Gallo’s class, included . The project will continue for several weeks and then the adult beetles will be released.
