The City School District of Albany’s Virtual Summer Program for students in grades 1-6 will begin Monday.
The program, designed to equip students with skills for success in the coming school year, will provide two hours of live virtual instruction Monday-Friday through Aug. 28.
Instruction will focus on English language arts, math, social studies and science, as well as navigate the changes that have occurred in our community due to COVID-19 and racial injustice.
Families who registered for the program will receive a letter indicating their child’s Google Classroom teacher and student ID number.
Students in grades 1-3 will be able to sign in from 8:30-10:30 a.m., and students in grades 4-6 will be able to sign in from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
If a family member is not sure how to sign in, follow these directions on how access Google Classroom. Students can sign in using their district account.
