Student-artists from the district's 12 elementary schools will have their creativity on display for the Capital Region to admire and enjoy.
The Albany Institute of History and Art is hosting the , May 6-8.
Between 240-260 student pieces are part of the show and students and families are invited to attend.
- Friday, May 6 from 5-8 p.m.
- Saturday, May 7 from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
- Sunday, May 8 from 12-5 p.m.
On Saturday, the Albany Institute of History and Art, located at 125 Washington Ave., will host a special drop-in art making session
There is no cost to come explore the City School District of Albany Elementary Art show. Admission to the galleries and museum is waived for students who have a piece in the show, and their family, upon check-in at Visitor Services.
As a reminder, district elementary and middle school students are eligible for free admission to the Albany Institute, and includes an accompanying adults, sponsored by the Carl E. Touhey Foundation. Use (discount code CSDA).
