Students in kindergarten-grade five from Arbor Hill Elementary School, Albany School of Humanities and Montessori Magnet School join peers from Giffen daily for instruction and intervention in reading and math. There is also a focus on enhancing science skills, social justice concepts and social-emotional learning.

Morning learning is led by district teachers, with afternoon enrichment provided by community partners.

Similar programming is being held at Eagle Point Elementary and Philip J. Schuyler Achievement Academy.
