The City School District of Albany Community Budget Committee will meet to begin its work to help inform the district’s budget-development process for the 2022-23 school year.
The committee is comprised of five volunteers who work with district staff to develop an understanding of district revenue sources, mandated programs and services, and resource allocation in support of the district’s vision, mission and goals.
The committee will meet four times through the end of February. All meetings are from 5:30-7 p.m. and will be conducted virtually:
Committee members will then provide input to the Board of Education on community priorities that Albany residents would like to see resources directed to in the district’s budget for next school year.
