The City School District of Albany is launching a new COVID-19 daily screener tool for students and employees beginning Monday, Nov. 30.
The new tool will send an email with a link to a health screener each morning at 2:05 a.m., so that it will be available for you when you begin your day.
For parents and guardians with more than one student enrolled in the district, the email will include a link to a health screener for each student. The email will go to the address currently on file in the district’s student management system. If you do not have an email on file, or if you would like to update the email on file, please contact your child’s school.
The daily screener also will continue to be available from the Students/Families dropdown menu above.
For employees, the daily email will go to their .
If you do not receive the test screener via email Friday or anytime thereafter, please contact Quality Assurance Manager Meghan Warren at .
It is important for everyone to complete the screener each day by 7:30 a.m. Families must complete it before sending students to school; employees must complete it before reporting for work.
If you answer “yes” to any questions in the screener, or if an employee or a student has a temperature above 100°F, you should remain at home.
This daily update is critical to the district’s efforts to maintain healthy learning and work environments for all students and employees. Please also continue to follow all COVID-19 protocols, including wearing a mask, social distancing of 6 feet or more and frequent handwashing, at work, at school and in all of your daily activities.
